Lessons learned from handgun course.

If you are going to own a gun in future, or own one at the moment, it is very important that you understand what the law says about owning a gun.

I also believe that if you own a gun, you should make sure that your family members are aware of the law around owning a gun, your immediate family members should know exactly what the law says about guns in general, what is allowed and what is not, I will send my wife for this course just to learn about the laws governing guns.

Handling a gun on its own is a very serious issue, knowing how to handle the gun safely is very important, I’ve learned safe ways of handling a gun, cleaning it, and ultimately shooting one, accurately and safe.

Training material

The course material tells you everything you need to know about handguns operation and the law around it, The instructor knows what he is doing, he knows the law in and out, and he is very much informed about guns, The presentation was excellent, and to the point.

Recommendations

I will advise everyone who owns or will own a gun to attend this course. This cause teaches you what the law says about guns, and also teaches you the safe ways of handling a gun.

By attending the course, I have actually learnt more than what the course covers. Andre made me realize how important it is to keep on practicing shooting after getting your license. It was not easy to hit the target at the first. But with practice, it became more and more clearer and accurate. Shooting a gun is not about pointing a gun at your target and then pulling the trigger.

There’s more to shooting than just pointing a gun and pulling the trigger. You learn all this in the course that is presented by Andre.

Andre, i.e. the course instructor by the way, not only presented the course, but also gave advise on choosing your gun. You should get it right from the start, because it is not easy to change a gun once it has been registered under your name.

You should also be comfortable when handling your gun, as this will affect you accuracy during shooting.
